IMAGE 8. DYES ON BUBBLE WRAP. (A4 SHEET) I experimented with bubble wrap to arrive at a textured surface designed to be used within a pebble foreshore or river bed stitched sample. The bubble wrap was coated with Gesso and , before the gesso had completely dried, some of the dyes from the Scottish Loch scene sample were painted on. The liquid gesso had the effect of further muting and merging the colours.
